You must make sure that your Jordan passport photo or visa photo meets the necessary requirements listed below, otherwise your application will probably be rejected when you go to submit it. Reload Internet can help you avoid this!
Jordan Passport Photo and Visa Photo specifications:
- The dimensions of photo should be 35 mm X 45 mm.
- The size of your head from chin to head should be 31 mm to 36 mm.
- Print the photo on a high quality photo paper and the background should be off white or plain.
- You will have to submit four copies of the same photo with the dimensions being 35mm X 45 mm.
- In the photo, your entire face and the top of your shoulders must be visible clearly, which should cover 70% – 80% of the photo.
- All your facial features must be seen clearly in the photo and it should be clicked such that your face looks straight. On both sides of your face, the features must be seen to an equal extent and should be clear.
- If you have too much hair, groom it in a manner such that it does not cover your face in any way and the face along with your hair must be seen clearly.
- The photo should be a recent one and not older than six months.
- The expression of your face must be neutral and teeth not visible. Do not smile, frown, laugh or give out any other expression. Your eyes must be open should not be raised or squinted while clicking the photo.
- There should not be any tilt in the orientation of your head with respect to the photo. In a square to the camera, do not rotate your head and look straight into the camera with the camera lens being in the same level as that of your eyes.
- Ensure that there are no touchups or edits done to the photo. Softening, cropping or touching up of the photo is not allowed.
- Maintain natural color of the photo and make use of a high quality photo paper to print the photo with a resolution exceeding 600 dpi.
- Glasses are not recommended in the photo. In case you necessarily have to wear your glasses, make sure that your eyes are seen clearly despite the glasses. Ensure that there is no glare due to the glasses and your eyes should not be covered or blurred due to any type of reflection.
- Head gear is generally not allowed. However, under religious circumstances where you would have to wear head gear, make sure that it does not cover your face and there are no shadows on your face due to the head gear.
- If you are applying for a Visa or Passport of Jordan for an infant, the photo should not be clicked when the child is lying down. You will have to support the child and the support must not be seen.
