You must ensure that the Niger passport photo you submit with your application meets all of the necessary requirements stated by the Consulate of Niger. If your photograph does not meet all of the requirements stated by the Consulate of Niger in regards to Niger passport and visa photographs, then it is likely that your application will be declined due to a photo error.

  • Two 35 mm x 45 mm identical photographs must be submitted.

  • The photos must clearly show your facial features in a straightforward position.
  • The background must be gray and without patterns.
  • Photos can’t be more than 6 months old.
  • You must have a neutral expression in the photo.
  • Your face must be square to the camera, and not turned or at an angle.
  • Your head should cover 70 % – 80 % of the photo. The size of the head should be 30 mm to 36 mm from crown to chin on the printed photograph.
  • You must look directly into the camera lens, with your eyes opened and visible. The camera lens must be at the eye level of the applicant.
  • Your face should be evenly illuminated. Reflections, shadows and red eyes must be avoided as it will cause your photograph to fail.
  • The applicant can’t be wearing glasses as it will increase the probability of your application being rejected.
  • The photo should be printed on a high-quality paper with a minimum print resolution of 600 dpi. Photos must be in color.
  • Headwear is not permitted unless it’s being used for religious, medical or cultural reasons.
  • The face must be nicely focused in all areas, rich in contrast and clear.
  • You must not use an excessive amount of makeup or any other thing that can alter your face features when getting your photo taken.
