Watch our video below to learn more information about the requirements of a Peru passport photo or visa photo, and to see how quickly we can produce them:

The Peruvian Embassy has a strict set of guidelines when it comes to applying for a passport or visa, and it’s essential that you follow them to the letter. If you don’t meet them all, then your application could very well be rejected, and you will have to start the process from the beginning again. This can lead to delays which could potentially affect your travel plans, so it’s important you get things right the first time around. Luckily, our passport photo studio will do just that for you, and ensure your photo meets all the necessary requirements. You don’t need to make an appointment in advance, and we will be able to print out your photo right there and then- so you don’t need to come back later to pick it up.

Peru Passport Photo and Visa Photo specifications:

  • Your application must include 2 photos measuring 2”x2”

  • The photo must show your full face clearly, with your head in a level position
  • Your head should take up between 60%-70% of the photo. When printed, this means it should measure between 31mm – 36mm
  • Photos should be taken against a plain white background. There should be no shadows visible in the photo, neither on your face nor on the background
  • Photos must be in colour
  • You must maintain a neutral expression while the photo is being taken. This means that your mouth must be fully closed, and your eyes wide open. You also need to be looking straight into the camera while the photo is being taken
  • Your head must be level while the photo is taken, and pointed straight at the camera. Both sides of your face must take up an equal proportion of the photo
  • The camera must be at eye level when the photo is taken, with your eyes in the center of the picture
  • You may wear glasses while your photo is taken, but you must ensure that the frames do not cover any part of your eyes, and there can be no glare or reflection visible on the lenses
  • The physical photo must be printed on high-quality white paper without an excessive amount of gloss. It needs to have a suitable amount of brightness and contrast, and many NOT be digitally altered in any way. Photos that have been digitally altered are liable to be rejected

At Reload Internet, we guarantee that the Peru passport photo or visa photo you receive from us will pass at the Embassy. We receive all of our specifications directly from the official Embassy of Peru’s guidelines on passport and visa photographs, which can be found here.
